Why you may be compelled to sell your stuff at the next bon marché

THE FINER DETAILS

  • Fill out an application here. Once your application has been approved, we will send you a vendor agreement form and payment option. Once you have signed and paid, you are official.

  • A 10x10 stand costs $50, unless otherwise noted. **Some markets have different pricing structures because of the layout.

This fee is much lower than the costs associated with professional markets ($150 +), and covers the costs associated with renting space for the market.

  • The ideal stand has a sun cover (like a pop up tent or umbrella), tables for displaying goods and a rack if you have clothing. It is possible to forgo some of these things depending on the time of year, and what you have to sell.

Once you are signed up, we will send you detailed instructions on how to lay out your stand.

  • YES! It is a great idea to share a stand with others! This makes selling even more fun. Co-workers, friends, family, a sports team- selling at our market is a great way to be together and raise money.

  • You do you! The purpose of the event is to create a space to buy and sell nice 2nd hand things. If you prefer to give your nice things away, we can’t anoint you a saint, but we can sell you a stand at our market!

  • This market was designed for amateur sellers and we provide tips and guides to make it easier.

  • Start saving for that convertible!

Every booth’s sales are dependent on a myriad of factors, including what they are selling, how much they sell items for and how popular their items are with the visitors. To boost sales + attendance, we highly recommend promoting the market to your personal networks!

  • As part of our zero-waste ethos, we try to partner with local charities to ensure nothing goes to landfill after the markets. We will let you know ahead of time if donations are an option after the market.
